Job Description SummaryWe are looking for a Project Portfolio Quality Manager for GE Vernova's North American Hydroelectric entity. As a strategic leader, the manager will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the synergy between GE Vernova and some of our key customers in North America and from a quality point of view. Reporting to the Regional Quality Leader and under the leadership of the Senior Director of the Project Portfolio, the manager will lead a team of professionals in quality assurance while being responsible for maximizing efficiency in the use of resources, harmonizing practices, optimizing the use of common standards and ensuring the proper execution of projects while anticipating future needs and challenges. He/she will also play a key role in supporting the project quality managers in our client's portfolio by guiding them in the necessary preparations to ensure that the work is executed in accordance with the established performance criteria.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities#LI-Remote - This is a remote position

- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure a high-performing team.
- Monitor and periodically report on the performance of project portfolio processes (non-quality costs, product non-conformities, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction)
- Master the customer's quality requirements and take the necessary actions with the relevant managers to meet the requirements.
- Analyze and provide contract requirements related to quality to the project team and support function kickoff meetings to ensure that all contract-specific requirements are conveyed to all stakeholders.
- Act as an agent of change by proposing innovations in the way things are done with a view to cost-effectiveness, quality and operational efficiency of projects.
- Establish processes, implement and participate in the improvement of collaborative quality tools with our client regarding the project portfolio.
- Work closely with other Function Coordinators to identify overall strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and meet deadlines, while ensuring the quality of our deliverables and products.
- Identify risks and opportunities at the portfolio level of projects, as well as the development and monitoring of associated action plans
- Define the quality plan for our client's entire project portfolio in collaboration with the other function coordinators.
- Coordinate and collect customer satisfaction surveys and take the necessary actions resulting from them.
- Support the Senior Director of the Project Portfolio and coordinate with the project quality managers the analysis and management of non-quality costs, the associated claims process, the associated curative and containment, corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in the hydropower industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools
- Relevant experience in project management.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel occasionally within USA and around the world.
- Project Management Certification
- Leadership, proactivity, sense of urgency, autonomy; ability to interact with functions.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; Strong communication skills.
