About The Role
Rippling operates as a payroll provider for thousands of our customers - a critical aspect of processing payroll is filing the appropriate forms with government agencies. We are looking to hire a Project Manager to partner with the Payroll Operations leadership team to drive the execution of key tasks in payroll operations. Specifically, this role will have a major impact on the efficiency and productivity of the quarterly and annual payroll filing process through the alignment of cross-functional teams, coordination of timelines and responsibilities, and hands-on execution of tasks with operational excellence. What You'll Do:
Work closely with the head of Payroll and Payroll Operations to optimize the payroll filing process
Drive cross-functional alignment around timelines, process steps, and priorities
Document processes to ensure consistency and accuracy of repeatable processes
Establish a cadence of team meetings to maintain alignment and provide progress updates to leadership
Develop KPIs and metrics to assess quality, accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications:
4+ years working experience in program or project management, product operations, consulting or an operations role that worked closely with product and engineering teams
Exceptional project management and organizational skills: high attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution
Strong analytical skills, as evidenced by your ability to make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency
Familiarity with payroll, tax payments and filings with government agencies in the USA
Experience leading an overseas technical and/or operations team are a plus
Experience in a highly cross functional role and can clearly describe and work within the organizational dynamics of a fast-growth company
Ability to execute with conviction and good judgment with limited guidance; needs minimal direction in an ambiguous context to take action and then adapt quickly
