About Rippling

Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage their HR & IT — from payroll and benefits, to employee computers and apps — all in one, modern system.

In just 90-seconds, a company can set up (or disable) an employee’s payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps, like Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Slack. It’s the only platform that truly unifies every employee system, and automates all of the administrative work.

Rippling is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised $200M in funding from top-tier investors, including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Initialized and Y Combinator.

About The Role

Rippling operates as a payroll provider for thousands of our customers - a critical aspect of processing payroll is filing the appropriate forms with government agencies. We are looking to hire a Project Manager to partner with the Payroll Operations leadership team to drive the execution of key tasks in payroll operations. Specifically, this role will have a major impact on the efficiency and productivity of the quarterly and annual payroll filing process through the alignment of cross-functional teams, coordination of timelines and responsibilities, and hands-on execution of tasks with operational excellence. This is an amazing opportunity to get in at the ground level and in growing a department.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the head of Payroll and Payroll Operations to optimize the payroll filing process

  • Drive cross-functional alignment around timelines, process steps, and priorities

  • Document processes to ensure consistency and accuracy of repeatable processes

  • Establish a cadence of team meetings to maintain alignment and provide progress updates to leadership

  • Develop KPIs and metrics to assess quality, accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years working experience in program or project management, product operations, consulting or an operations role that worked closely with product and engineering teams

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills: high attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution

  • Strong analytical skills, as evidenced by your ability to make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency

  • Familiarity with payroll, tax payments and filings with government agencies in the USA

  • Experience leading an overseas technical and/or operations team are a plus

  • Experience in a highly cross functional role and can clearly describe and work within the organizational dynamics of a fast-growth company

  • Ability to execute with conviction and good judgment with limited guidance; needs minimal direction in an ambiguous context to take action and then adapt quickly

If you don’t necessarily meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply because skills can be used in lots of different ways, your life experience is equally important sometimes.

Rippling is an equal opportunity employer.
