Job Description

We are looking for a client facing project manager who has a passion for delivering quick, remote, and real human insights that influence our client’s product roadmaps, prototypes, beta applications, and/or messaging. You will work with a variety of clients from some of the most downloaded apps on the iOS app store, international athletic brands, andor national QSRs.

You are an ideal fit as a Project Manager on our Professional Services team if you have excellent attention to detail, challenge the status quo, have robust communication skills, are not afraid to negotiate, and know how to hold internal teams and the client accountable. You will be responsible for the execution of our client’s research projects from discovery to retro. Your success is based on your ability to juggle multiple projects, proactively chase down answers and provide status up taks, timely management on multiple communication streams/platforms, and partner with our researchers to deliver the best insights possible with project constraints. You put an emphasis on quality at every level in a fast pace delivery environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of project management from discovery, approaches, resourcing, internal and client communications, status updates. timeline, budget, change, risks and issues
• Utilize all project artifact templates and manage timelines and resourcing within Clarizen
• Ensure that projects are proceeding according to quality standards, project schedule, and budget 
• Demonstrate UX and CX research acumen to support how solutions will address customer objectives while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, excellence and accountability
• Elevate the project management team with your insight, expertise and overall guidance
• Participate in refining or establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand PMO and Professional Services capabilities for the organization
• Continue professional development to remain abreast of emerging methods, best practices and thought leadership
• Act as a brand ambassador and point of contact for customers that work with our Professional Services organization

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in customer facing, enterprise level project management in SaaS, digital agencies, or technology consulting
• 1+ years working on projects that have an emphasis on research 
• Ability to think and act strategically around process and efficiency
• Ability to oversee a high volume of project delivery with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills for your project teams
• Customer facing skills that radiate authenticity, enthusiasm, energy, poise, confidence and professionalism
• Ability to build credibility and trust with UserTesting team members, customers and senior management
• Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment that requires strong time-management and prioritization skills and a varying degree of ambiguity
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

• PMP/PMI or related Project Management certification
• Prior experience in Professional Services for a SaaS company or Research company/department 
• Experience with G Suite and Clarizen
