Position Summary

The Provider Compensation Partner is a vital role in providing consultative subject matter expertise, guidance and analysis at MultiCare Health System. In this position, you will work cross-functionally with leadership and human potential on matters related to provider compensation in assigned hospitals and units to help meet business objectives while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide a high level of customer service, support and guidance to assigned hospital and units with provider compensation related matters, resolving escalated issues and inquiries timely with a high degree of accuracy
  • You will monitor existing programs and tools for ongoing issues and concerns
  • You will provide timely, accurate and appropriate levels of information to facilitate sound decision making
  • You will analyze compensation content and/or outcomes through appropriate tools and techniques

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
  • Certification in related area desirable (i.e. CCP, CBP, PHR)
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in Compensation or Human Resources to include experience researching compensation issues, compensation administration, and developing recommendations for solutions in a large organization, preferably in health care
  • Experience in Physician and Provider Compensation a plus

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $94,889.60 - $136,572.80 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
