About the Job

As a QA Analyst focused on Android, you will be responsible for manually testing Keeper’s Android applications to ensure high quality, functionality, and performance. You’ll collaborate with developers and QA automation engineers to plan and execute test cases, reproduce issues, and validate bug fixes. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing on Android applications
  • Perform functional, UI/UX, and exploratory testing to identify issues and ensure consistency with product requirements
  • Document and log defects clearly and reproducibly using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to retest resolved issues and verify quality improvements
  • Participate in test planning and requirements reviews, providing input on test coverage and risk areas
  • Maintain and update test plans and test case repositories as product features evolve
  • Conduct testing on real Android devices and emulators across multiple OS versions and screen sizes
  • Support the QA Automation team by identifying areas suitable for automation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing of Android mobile applications
  • Strong understanding of Android ecosystems, UI/UX behaviors, and mobile app workflows
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Familiarity with mobile device testing, emulators, and real-device environments
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing cross-platform mobile apps or APIs
  • Exposure to test automation concepts or collaboration with automation teams (Appium, Espresso, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab, or Sauce Labs
  • Basic understanding of performance and usability testing
