KATBOTZ is seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for enterprise applications and digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, test strategy, defect management, team coordination, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end QA activities including test planning, execution, reporting, and defect tracking.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

  • Coordinate with development, business, and project teams to ensure quality deliverables.

  • Manage functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.

  • Oversee automation testing initiatives and improve test coverage and efficiency.

  • Track defects, coordinate resolutions, and ensure timely closure of issues.

  • Monitor testing progress, risks, and quality metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

  • Mentor QA team members and enforce QA best practices and standards.

  • Support release validation, production testing, and deployment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, security requirements, and documentation processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

  • Strong experience in manual and automation testing methodologies.

  • Expertise in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT.

  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Experience testing web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading distributed or offshore QA teams.

  • Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.

  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, or Agile certifications are preferred.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP is an advantage.
