What will you do?  What are we looking for? 

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Robot Framework for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define test strategies, identify test scenarios, and ensure full coverage of business requirements.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).

Implement test data management, logging, and reporting mechanisms for better traceability and debugging.

Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts and enforce best practices for maintainability and performance.

Contribute to the overall QE roadmap, continuously enhancing automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Investigate, document, and report defects using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and support shift-left testing initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience in QA Automation with a focus on Cypress and Robot Framework.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python scripting.

Experience in API testing, web application testing, and cross-browser validation.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC principles.

Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.

Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter or k6.

Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks and practices.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
