Job Description
Job Title: Quality and Automation Engineer 2
Technical Skills Must Have:
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing for Web and mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience in Test Automation using any test framework (eg., WebdriverIO, Selenium, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of test design, execution, and defect management
  • Experience working with API testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Postman, etc.)

Good to Have
  • Experience with Playwright automation framework
  • Knowledge of mobile testing tools/frameworks (iOS testing - XCUITest/Appium, etc.)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test suites
  • Exposure to Git skills to maintain high-quality automation code

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end manual testing for iOS applications and web applications ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution with clear documentation
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution activities
  • Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks
  • Support automation integration into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases
  • Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics and risks
  • Continuously improve knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using Test frameworks
  • Strong experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications
  • Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (or any scripting language) for automation
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing approaches
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
