Key Responsibilities
Corrective Action & Program Execution (CE / CAP)
- Execute corrective and preventative actions resulting from Cause Evaluations (CE) and CAP programs
- Manage and reduce backlog of corrective actions, driving toward full completion and compliance targets
- Coordinate with process owners, SMEs, and program leadership to ensure timely resolution of findings
- Translate root cause findings into actionable, implemented solutions
- Track status, risks, and dependencies across all corrective action efforts
- Ensure full compliance with program procedures, audit expectations, and documentation standards
Initiating & Designing (I&D) Support
- Support intake and evaluation of new project requests across program workstreams
- Define clear problem statements, scope, assumptions, and high-level solution approaches
- Assist in development of project frameworks, engagement models, and delivery plans
- Coordinate with leadership to prioritize initiatives and reduce bottlenecks
- Support development of templates, intake processes, and standardized approaches to project initiation
- Ensure new initiatives are structured for efficient execution and measurable outcomes
Process & Controls Re-Architecture
- Analyze and evaluate existing processes, procedures, and documentation across utility programs
- Support redesign of process architecture, including development of future-state workflows
- Create process maps, SOPs, RACIs, and supporting documentation
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and gaps in current processes
- Contribute to development of standardized, scalable process frameworks (“gold standard”)
- Improve accessibility, usability, and consistency of documentation across teams
Quality, Risk & Continuous Improvement
- Support root cause analysis efforts and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment between corrective actions and long-term process improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with PDCA principles
- Identify trends in defects, findings, and process breakdowns to inform systemic improvements
Coordination, Reporting & Governance
- Maintain detailed tracking of actions, deliverables, and program metrics
- Provide regular updates through structured reporting cadences (e.g., weekly, monthly reviews)
- Support governance processes, including documentation, approvals, and audit readiness
- Collaborate across GIS, data, engineering, and program teams to ensure alignment
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, GIS, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 3–7 years of experience in quality engineering, program support, operations, or consulting
- Experience working in regulated environments or utility programs preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- Proven ability to drive execution and close out actions in structured programs
- Excellent coordination and follow-through across multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process mapping, documentation, and workflow design
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and administrative rigor
Work Environment
- Primarily remote with occasional travel for stakeholder meetings
- Hybrid cadence for key workshops and program milestones
