EXPERIENCE:
1. Three (3) years of experience in a physician/hospital scheduling and registration or business office environment.
2. Experience and knowledge in admissions, registration, and insurance verification.

1. Greets patients upon arrival and notifies modalities of patient arrival.
2. Calls patients to remind of scheduled appointments and required lab work prior to scans.
3. Verifies correct information such as patient name, accession number, patient ID, etc on imaging exams.
4. Requests images from other facilities as required.
5. Properly organizes and maintains medical records and other clerical records. Uploads and transmits images into PACS or various systems per procedure. Uploads images on CDs using CD burner.
6. Answers and directs phone calls to appropriate department.
7. Maintains adequate stock of supplies for the department.

4. General knowledge of medical terminology, hospital payment plan guidelines, healthcare insurance payers, and time of service collection procedures.
