Hours:  7:30pm-7:00am

Under the direction of the Medical Director, and in conjunction with the Administrative Director of Imaging Services performs various radiological procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to: limited monitoring of patients during procedures, performing some Specialized Radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, working in various areas and with various equipment. Also assists with QA and QI studies, patient scheduling, and crash cart monitoring. Technologist is expected to learn and perform with our Cerner information system and complete studies in our McKesson PACS system. Position is expected to solve PACS during the shift. Technologists are to complete all portable Xrays ordered ready for shift. With limited supervision uses independent judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic images. Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration. Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff. Assists the Radiologist with contrast administration. Practices sterile technique and other duties as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology
2. Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) – California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) Certification
3. Current Fluoroscopy License - required within one (1) year of hire
4. Special procedures, CT experience preferred
5. Current American Heart Association BLS certification
6. Cath Lab experience preferred
