Wilson Sonsini has an immediate opening for a full-time Receptionist in our San Francisco office. This is an important role as the Receptionist is the face of the firm and will need to present a professional and courteous image to internal and external customers and clients and will provide support to ensure that their requests are addressed.

This position will also provide support and report to the Office Administrator, which may include booking conference rooms, welcoming visitors checking into the San Francisco office, tracking building access cards, assisting with hoteling offices, uploading invoices to the internal accounts payable database, preparing weekly administrative forms and other administrative projects as assigned.

This position is onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and transfer internally and externally using Microsoft Teams
  • Greet and assist clients, guests, vendors, and employees
  • Ensure all visitors are registered in the visitor management system and with building security
  • Schedule internal conference rooms and arrange for catering and technical equipment when necessary
  • Assist with conference room set up as requested with food, beverages, and any other special requests
  • Oversight of onsite meetings to ensure everything is running smoothly and addressing requests from visiting guests
  • Assist with booking visiting attorney offices when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Experience of 1+ years is required
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must demonstrate professional telephone etiquette, and excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to communicate with all levels of employees throughout the firm in an effective, pleasant, and professional manner
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment and must exercise extraordinary discretion and maintain client and attorney confidentiality
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new business practices and software as needed
  • Possess excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) are required
  • Must be flexible and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments. Experience in a professional services environment preferred
  • Ability to work overtime occasionally and adjust schedule as needed
The primary location for this job posting is in San Francisco. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $24.52 - $33.17 per hour.

The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
