The Mission

Most AI today is frozen in time—static models that cannot adapt to an evolving world. We think that’s backwards. Adaption’s mandate is to build efficient, real-time intelligence that continually adapts. We believe efficiency expands access, turning frontier capabilities into tools that benefit everyone. Our goal is to allow anyone to own frontier AI around the world.

Key Responsibilities1. Build out a high quality pipeline
  • High-Quality Outreach: Proactively hunt and engage top talent across academia, emerging labs, and technical communities before candidates even hit the open market.

  • Creativity: Be creative in unique outreach, create bespoke experience for recruits.

  • Leverage Modern Tools: Work daily with tools like Ashby, Juicebox, and LinkedIn Recruiter to build, track, and optimize talent pipelines rapidly.

2. Full-Cycle Execution & Candidate Experience
  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage full-cycle recruiting steps—from aggressive sourcing and initial screens to interview coordination and offer follow-ups.

  • Uncompromising Candidate Care: Deliver lightning-fast response times and an exceptional, touchpoint-rich experience for every candidate.

3. Hiring Partner Alignment
  • Tight Technical Alignment: Work side-by-side with research and engineering leads to quickly turn evolving technical roadmaps into actionable search criteria.

  • Agile Iteration: Pivot sourcing tactics fast based on market signals, feedback loops, and shifting priority roles.

What We're Looking For
  • 1–3+ Years of Tech Recruiting Experience: Early-career to mid-level recruiters with an agency or startup background who thrive in fast-paced and creative environment.

  • Extreme Bias for Action: You are organized, care deeply and pay attention to the details. You move fast, follow up faster, and care about your canidates.

  • AI Curiosity & Technical Literacy: A strong eagerness to learn the landscape of frontier machine learning (model efficiency, post-training, distributed systems) and speak credibly to technical talent.

  • Tooling Fluency: Hands-on experience with modern sourcing tools (Ashby, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).

  • Adaptability & Grit: Comfortable operating in ambiguity, solving problems on the fly, and balancing multiple urgent searches simultaneously.

Role Details
  • Type: 8-Month Contract (eligible for conversion)

  • Focus: Technical Sourcing & Full-Cycle Recruiting (AI Research & Engineering)
