As a full-cycle recruiter, you will design recruiting processes, build strong candidate pipelines, and influence team culture and composition at Meter, ensuring exceptional hires that align with the company's mission.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Meter, we’re rebuilding networking from the ground up (hardware, software, and operations) so that enterprises can finally have networks that are fast, secure, reliable, and evolve without friction.

In order to take over the legacy networking market, we’re building an elite group of Sales, Channel and Sales Engineering team members, and are looking for a second Sales Recruiter to accelerate go-to-market hiring.

What success looks like

Your work directly shapes Meter’s revenue engine. You raise the bar with every hire by identifying and closing exceptional sales talent that accelerates our business.

Your primary measures of success will be:

  • Hiring quality: 6-month performance ratings for your hires consistently exceed or greatly exceed hiring manager expectations. You achieve 90%+ new hire retention through year one with hiring managers consistently sharing they would enthusiastically rehire these colleagues.

  • Pipeline volume and hiring velocity: Significantly increase the volume of high quality candidates while cutting time-to-hire by 20%, maintaining an ≥80% offer acceptance rate.

What your day-to-day will look like

You will own the full recruiting lifecycle for our growing GTM organization. Your day will include:

  • Designing search strategies and mapping the market across sales, channel, and customer-facing roles.

  • Proactively sourcing and engaging high-caliber candidates through targeted outreach, referrals, and creative research.

  • Running a structured, clear hiring process that enables high-conviction decisions.

  • Partnering closely with our Sales and Leadership teams, facilitating debriefs, and advising on compensation, leveling, and closing strategiesy.

  • Personalizing every step of the candidate experience to reflect Meter’s values and high standards.

  • Applying persistence and rigor: following up one more time, seeking a warm introduction, or tailoring a message that unlocks the right conversation.

Who you are
  • You have an incredibly high bar for sales talent. You know how to evaluate candidates who can sell a sophisticated, full-stack product, evangelize Meter’s vision and build trust with candidates to get them to join the team.

  • You can relentlessly drive top-of-funnel for the roles you recruit for, identifying and converting potential candidates through creative outreach and multiple media.

  • You understand the compounding return an exceptional hire has on a company’s trajectory, and you work tirelessly to ensure hiring decisions reflect this.

  • You think of recruiting as a discipline as scientific as the sales team that you support, and bring clarity and confidence to the hiring process, enabling your hiring partners to make decisions with a high degree of conviction.

  • You’re an evangelist and steward of company culture.

  • You've built recruiting processes that scale with fast growing businesses (maybe you took a startup from 20 to 200 people, or owned high-volume hiring at a growth company).

  • You have a high sense of urgency and can live by the Meter Sales team’s motto of “Why not now?”.

Why Meter?

The internet runs the world. Every email you send, purchase you make, video call you join—it’s all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.

We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.

Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.

Compensation
  • The estimated salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
