About the team

We’re looking to add a dedicated and skilled Recruiter to our team who will be responsible for finding, interviewing, and hiring a high-volume of sales and customer care talent to meet our evolving business needs. At Angi, we believe our people are our greatest product, so we’re looking for a passionate brand ambassador who can articulate our culture, build authentic relationships, and provide top-notch service to every candidate and hiring manager.

As Angi, we build on the evidence so as a recruiter on our team you will move beyond gut feelings by using data and structured interviewing to identify the best talent and make objective hiring decisions. You will also learn iteratively, treating every hiring class as an opportunity to refine your sourcing strategies and improve your selection process.

Success in this role requires a commitment to engaging in consistent dialogue and committing together with our leadership and local communities. You will work in lockstep with schools and diverse organizations to build a representative and high-performing workforce, always acting with integrity by providing honest, transparent feedback. What you’ll do:

  • Digging up candidates in both the obvious and less obvious places - you'll be responsible for reviewing inbound applications and proactive outreach to passive candidates online and in our database
  • Utilize LinkedIn for organizing prospecting efforts and outreach campaigns
  • Conducting a high-volume of phone interviews, video or on-site interviews and offer calls; At minimum, a recruiter will conduct 88 interviews a month
  • Building business partnerships with hiring managers to ensure that talent needs are met and everyone is well-versed in the recruiting process and executing appropriately
  • Building business partnerships with college career centers, professors, and other community contacts to increase Angi visibility
  • Coordinating phone, video, and/or on-site interviews with hiring managers
  • Assisting in the new hire onboarding processes
  • Other business-necessary projects as needed

In this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required, preferably at a high volume
  • Must have prior experience with managing candidates and utilizing an applicant tracking system, as well as proficiency in online sourcing
  • Past experience with intern, college, or entry-level recruiting is a plus
  • Solid understanding of employment trends and talent data in your specific market
  • Desire to work as part of a larger team- collaboration and relationship building comes second nature to you
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which encompasses solid grammar skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to communicate effectively through phone, in-person, and electronic communications
  • A solutions-oriented mentality, with a professional, positive, energetic attitude and a desire to go above and beyond for the betterment of the team
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, and ability to adapt and learn on the fly to keep up with the lightning speed of our environment
  • Extreme attention to detail- you hate typos and when things are out of order!
  • Excellent customer service skills with an obsession for the candidate experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required, BA degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This is an exempt (salaried) position with compensation ranging from $65,000 to $75,000
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year-end performance bonus

Where you’ll work:

  • This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will permanently reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Washington.
    • Angi currently has an office in the following city/states, 1) Denver, CO, 2) Indianapolis, IN and 3) New York City, NY, which are available for use if you reside near these locations
  • We have a 'camera on' culture for virtual meetings. Team members must utilize all company provided equipment, including the webcam, for all team communications.
