Title: Associate Recruiting Coordinator

We’re on a mission to end the debt cycle—and help our customers and their communities unlock economic mobility for generations to come. Join the team that’s making our goal a reality.

As a Public Benefit Corporation, our mission and responsibility are to help communities unlock economic mobility—with affordable credit products designed to improve financial health.

Since our founding, we’ve delivered over $1 billion in funding to more than 1 million customers and saved them over $500 million. At Possible, we’re building a new kind of consumer finance company, one that helps people stay out of debt rather than profit from keeping them in it.

Team Introduction

Our Recruiting team finds and hires the people who make Possible's mission real. We work from our downtown Seattle office, partner closely with hiring teams across the company, and treat every candidate as someone we hope to welcome, whether or not they join us. We also build our presence in the Seattle community through meetups and college recruiting, so more people learn what we are building and why it matters.

The Role & Responsibilities

As our Associate Recruiting Coordinator, you are the person candidates and teammates meet first and remember last. You schedule interviews, aiming to complete each request within 24 hours on average. You are also the face and voice of Possible: you greet interviewees, walk them to their conversations, and make sure they feel welcome and prepared. Taking care of the people we hope to hire, and the teammates who interview them, is how we live To Lead is to Serve.

You will also help run our events strategy, with a goal of at least one meetup a month. You plan the logistics, work with partner groups, and follow up with attendees so a good evening becomes a lasting connection. You will support our college recruiting work, keep our applicant tracking system, Ashby, accurate and working well, and build the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that show how hiring is going. We expect you to Act with Ownership: notice what needs fixing, fix it or raise it, and see projects through. You will also take on side projects that no one has defined yet, which is a great way to learn the full range of People work. This is a full-time, hourly role with benefits, and a strong start for a career in human resources or recruiting.

The Opportunity

This is an entry point into a career in People and recruiting at a mission-driven company. In your first year you will learn how a recruiting function really runs: interview coordination, applicant tracking and automation, recruiting reports, and community events. You will work side by side with the hiring manager and the recruiting team, get real responsibility early, and have our support as you grow toward broader recruiting or human resources work as your interests develop.

Requirements

You do not need every item below to succeed here. If most of this describes you, we would like to hear from you.

  • 1 to 2 years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Clear, professional written and spoken English

  • Comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, including spreadsheets for tracking and reporting

  • Working knowledge of AI tools and curiosity about using them to make work easier

  • Careful attention to detail and steady follow-through, in keeping with our Expectations of Excellence

  • Curiosity about data and a habit of asking why the numbers look the way they do

  • A clear interest in growing a career in human resources or recruiting. You do not need to know exactly where it leads.

  • Openness to side projects that are not yet defined, and comfort working across teams

Helpful, not required:

  • Experience in recruiting, human resources, or a similar coordination role

  • Experience with Ashby or another applicant tracking system, including setting up automations

What we offer

This is a Hybrid position. We work in our centrally located office in downtown Seattle three days a week (M, T, and Th).

The hourly pay range for this role is $35.12 to $38.46. We also offer comprehensive benefits, commuter benefits, and excellent office space with complimentary drinks and food.

With the backing of our venture investors: Union Square Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Euclidean Capital, and Unlock Venture Partners. With a dedicated following of hundreds of thousands of customers and an extraordinary team, we are unwavering in our fight for financial fairness. As one of only a few FinTech Public Benefit Corporations, we’ve baked our dual dedication to building a profitable and socially impactful company into our charter; we only succeed when our customers do too. Give us a shout if you’d like to help us ship financial products that protect consumers from predatory lending practices and promote economic health.

Possible Finance is dedicated to financial fairness and community empowerment. We welcome diverse perspectives and experiences to help us achieve our mission of unlocking economic mobility for generations to come.
