Maleda Tech
Regional Associate, Growth & Competition (Northeast Atlantic & Canada Region)
Be an Early Applicant
Conduct high-volume outbound outreach to property hosts, using listing, pricing, and performance data to explain platform value and identify booking opportunities. Build relationships through calls, video meetings, and email; address objections; manage follow-ups and account information in CRM and communication tools; track goals and share insights with the team. The role is remote, full-time, six months, and focused on business development and junior account management.
About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Associate to join a new outreach team supporting property hosts across the Northeast Atlantic region and Canada. In this role, you will use data to help hosts understand how their listings and pricing compare across booking platforms. You will also share education, tips, and insights that help them make informed decisions. This is a phone-heavy, relationship-driven role, a blend of business development and junior account management. It is well suited to someone early in their career who enjoys outbound outreach and building rapport quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze listing optimization opportunities and performance trends across a portfolio of high-potential host accounts, and act on data-driven opportunities that help hosts attract more bookings
- Make a high volume of outbound calls, roughly 10-20 per day, and reach hosts through video meetings and email, following up consistently across channels
- Present data clearly using charts and approved tools, and explain the platform's value to hosts
- Help hosts understand how their pricing compares across booking platforms, and address common questions and objections
- Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integrations with various software partners
- Document conversations, classifications, and follow-ups in Salesforce, Gong, and team trackers
- Track progress toward quarterly goals and adjust your approach weekly
- Share learnings, objections, and best practices with the team
- Follow host communication guidelines at all times: educate and inform, provide objective, data-driven insights, and empower hosts to make their own pricing and business decisions
Qualifications
Required
- Comfort on the phone and on video, with the ability to build rapport quickly with people you have never met
- Comfort with outbound outreach and a high daily call volume
- Organized and self-directed, able to manage a large portfolio and a daily call plan
- Curiosity and comfort with data: you can read a dashboard, spot a pattern, and explain it simply
- Persistence and resilience: you can follow up many times, respectfully, without taking silence personally, and adapt quickly to different conversations
- Good judgment and integrity when working within compliance guidelines
Preferred
- Fluency in French
- 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, business development, account management, or host or partner success and onboarding, ideally at a marketplace or tech platform
- Customer service, sales, or hospitality experience (internships count)
- Bachelor's degree completed or expected within the next 6 months (any field)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce), call-intelligence tools (Gong), or outreach tools (Mixmax)
- Experience with spreadsheets and dashboards (Google Sheets, Tableau)
- Interest in travel, short-term rentals, or online marketplaces
What to Expect
- A structured ramp-up with guided training and competitive intelligence sessions
- Tool walkthroughs with teammates for Salesforce, Gong, Mixmax, and team dashboards and trackers
- Shadowing on host calls during your first weeks
- Weekly performance data and regular coaching to support your growth
Key Details
- Start date: Mid-November 2026
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Remote (within the U.S.), Eastern or Central time zone preferred
- Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
