YOU WILL BE:

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Regional Director, People Business Partner to develop, implement, and lead the people strategy for the Neiman Marcus & Saks Fifth Avenue West Region workforce. You will support the regional executive team, store senior leadership teams, and Regional Vice President on key people-related initiatives and programs. This role is responsible for driving all people-based disciplines and development across the lifecycle, executive coaching, associate relations, and performance management, while fostering and sustaining an inclusive and engaged culture that promotes the achievement of overarching Company goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Developing strategy, leading and implementing people team initiatives and changes across the 14 West Region stores

  • Consult on organization changes and develop new structures with the executive business partners

  • Thoughtfully leverage people analytics and Key Performance Indicators to develop and executive the region's people strategy, in close partnership with the VP, People Business Partner

  • Positively influence and drive a diverse, inclusive, and engaged organizational culture, acting as the external and internal customer champion

  • Act as executive coach to Regional Vice President and store leadership, providing both formal and informal executive development and counsel on complex issues and escalations

  • Work with recruitment team to proactively source and identify executive talent (both internal and external candidates) with partnership of both the Regional Vice President and store leadership, having current and future job openings in mind

  • Ensure stores deliver all associate training and development initiatives, including new hire orientation and service behavior training according to Company guidelines and standards

  • Drive personal and team results by leveraging sales and HR data as appropriate to guide people-related decisions, while seeking ways to improve and streamline processes

  • Collaborate with specialized groups and expert teams, including compensation, benefits, legal, associate relations, people technology, and people operations to create, execute, and rollout new initiatives, as well as provide problem-solving input

  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or certification in HR (or a related field), or commensurate work experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment 

  • 10+ years previous HR experience, preferably with multi-unit responsibility, combined with a strong working knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to all HR disciplines

  • Experience coaching, developing, and acting as counsel for multiple levels of management, including senior leadership

  • Possesses leadership traits that include strong customer focus, business acumen, influence, strategic vision, inspiring communication, and a creative and innovative mindset

  • Remote-based role, with occasional travel if needed

  • Thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced, and challenging environment 

  • Excellent at building relationships and trust among colleagues and peers

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Google Workspace programs

Salary Range $125,000 - $216,000*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
