Meet the Team

The West Coast Sales organization is one of the most strategically important and highest-growth engines within Silicon Labs. This team sits at the center of innovation, partnering directly with many of the world’s most influential technology companies across the Northwest, Bay Area, and Southwest regions that collectively shape the future of connectivity, IoT, cloud infrastructure, automotive, and AI-enabled devices.

What makes this team exceptional is the scale and trajectory of the opportunity. Several target accounts are early in their engagement with Silicon Labs yet have the potential to ramp from near-zero revenue to $30M+ within 24–36 months when strategically positioned at the platform and roadmap level. The team includes seasoned direct sales professionals, high-impact FAEs, and trusted rep and distribution partners—all aligned to win large, transformative opportunities.

This is not a maintenance environment; it is a high-growth, high-influence arena where strategic leadership directly shapes Silicon Labs’ long-term success. Without strong direction in this region, the company risks leaving untapped some of the most consequential accounts in the industry accounts capable of materially shifting our revenue mix, customer concentration, and multi-year valuation profile.

For a Director-level leader, this team offers the unique combination of category-leading technology, greenfield growth at scale, complex strategic selling, and direct visibility with senior executives. It is the ideal environment for a transformational leader who thrives on ownership, influence, and big-picture impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale one of Silicon Labs’ most critical territories, delivering sustained 20–30%+ annual growth across high-value, high-visibility West Coast accounts.

  • Lead and develop a senior team of direct sales leaders, FAEs, rep networks, and distribution partners, ensuring world-class execution across complex strategic opportunities.

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with CEOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Product leaders at Fortune 500 companies to influence multi-year customer roadmaps.

  • Drive competitive displacement strategies, leveraging Silicon Labs’ category leadership in secure, low-power wireless solutions to unseat entrenched incumbents.

  • Win multi-product, multi-year platform design opportunities that create compounding revenue and strengthen Silicon Labs’ long-term customer footprint.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Ecosystem teams to synchronize customer strategy with Silicon Labs’ innovation roadmap.

  • Champion territory-wide strategy, partner alignment, and customer engagement models that scale predictably and position Silicon Labs as a long-term technology partner and not just a component supplier.

  • Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and operational execution, ensuring predictable results and ongoing business transformation.
