GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth and dealer performance within a defined territory for our utility vehicle lines. This role is responsible for managing a network of 20–25 dealer and distributor rooftops, with an expectation of monthly in-person visits to each location.

The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of commercial (B2B) sales experience and consumer (retail) sales support, along with a proven ability to drive results through dealer partnerships. Account management, territory execution, and sales growth are the primary measures of success.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

       Territory & Dealer Management

  • Manage and grow a defined geographic territory with 16–25 dealer and distributor rooftops
  • Conduct monthly on-site visits to all assigned rooftops to support sales, training, and relationship development
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and dealer network
  • Ensure dealer alignment with brand standards, sales strategies, and performance expectations

Sales Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve or exceed regional sales targets for unit volume, revenue, and market share
  • Drive commercial (B2B) sales growth, including fleet, municipal, campus, hospitality, and industrial customers
  • Support consumer (retail) sales through dealer sales process improvement, promotions, and merchandising execution
  • Partner with dealers to identify and close new business opportunities

       Account Management & Development

  • Develop and execute dealer-specific growth plans
  • Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve results
  • Support new dealer onboarding and territory optimization
  • Assist dealers with inventory planning, product mix, and forecasting

       Pipeline, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Build and manage a regional sales pipeline across commercial and retail channels
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and sales reporting
  • Track opportunities, close rates, and competitive activity using CRM tools
  • Share market feedback and insights with internal teams

Training & Product Support

  • Train dealer sales teams on products, applications, and competitive positioning
  • Support product launches and new model introductions
  • Act as a field expert on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred)
  • Equivalent industry experience will be considered

Experience: 

  • At least 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in:
    1. Utility vehicles, golf carts, LSVs, power sports, construction equipment, or capital equipment
    2. OEM or manufacturer roles supporting dealer or distributor networks
  • Proven success managing multi-location territories
  • Experience supporting both commercial (B2B) and consumer (retail) sales
  • Strong background in account management and territory growth
  • Comfortable working remotely with significant travel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
  • This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
