Overview
Mastercard Brazil is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to help strengthen its second line of defense framework in line with Central Bank of Brazil regulatory framework. This role will focus on enhancing regulatory compliance governance, implementing and monitoring controls, and centralizing regulatory reporting to ensure consistency, traceability, and supervisory readiness.
Key Responsibilities• Strengthen second line of defense structure and independence in line with BCB Resolution 522/2025• Design, implement, and monitor controls aligned with new regulatory obligations, including governance, risk management, and oversight requirements• Enhance governance frameworks to support greater accountability, transparency, and supervisory interaction• Centralize and standardize regulatory reporting to ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability• Identify control gaps, support remediation efforts, and maintain evidence of compliance• Partner with Legal, Risk, Product and relevant stakeholders, Franchise, and Operations to promote a sustainable compliance framework
All About You• Experience in regulatory compliance, internal controls, risk governance, or related second line functions• Strong knowledge of Brazilian financial regulation, preferably in payments or financial services• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and governance routines• Strong organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills• Fluent in Portuguese and English
