Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Business requires streamlined, high-quality data reporting to empower key stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, and marketing, with actionable insights. This role addresses the challenge of consolidating diverse data streams from multiple sources into cohesive, automated dashboards that highlight critical business trends and financial performance. By identifying reporting gaps and establishing robust quality assurance measures, this position ensures absolute data integrity across the department and drives proactive business decisions.

 

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

  • Build, improve, and maintain meaningful dashboards for upper management, sales, and supporting teams to drive strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to identify emerging reporting needs and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable data solutions
  • Automate recurring and ad-hoc reporting processes, utilizing modern tools to reduce manual processing time and enhance department efficiency
  • Analyze complex queries and scripts to uncover trends, investigate outliers, and provide actionable business impact suggestions
  • Coordinate department quality assurance efforts, identifying and correcting account or data errors to maintain high-quality outputs
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and automation techniques to streamline repetitive data querying and reporting tasks

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage competing stakeholder requests and synthesize complex datasets
  • Critical experiences in executing advanced SQL queries and developing insightful Tableau dashboards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, allowing for seamless cross-functional interactions with all levels of management
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a problem-solving mindset to identify data trends, discrepancies, and immediate business impacts
  • Adaptability and curiosity, featuring a willingness to take risks, learn from failures, and adopt innovative reporting methodologies
  • Foundational AI literacy, including the ability to apply AI tools for data exploration and prompt engineering to optimize workflows

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in or knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS to support advanced data initiatives

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting
  • SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and G-Suite

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
