About Arcade

Arcade is building the world’s first AI physical product creation platform, where imagination becomes reality. Our platform lets anyone design, purchase, and sell custom, manufacturable products using natural language and generative AI. We believe everyone should have the power to create physical goods as easily as they post online, and we’re building the infrastructure to make that real for both consumers and businesses.

We’ve raised $42M from a world-class group of investors, including Reid Hoffman, Forerunner Ventures (Kirsten Green), Canaan Partners (Laura Chau), Adverb Ventures (April Underwood), Factorial Funds (Sol Bier), Offline Ventures (Brit Morin), Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher), Inspired Capital (Alexa von Tobel), and Torch Capital (Jonathan Keidan). Our angel investors include Elad Gil, Ev Williams, Marissa Mayer, Sara Beykpour, Kayvon Beykpour, Anna Veronika Dorogush, Eugenia Kuyda, David Luan, Sharon Zhou, Kelly Wearstler, Karlie Kloss, Colin Kaepernick, Christy Turlington Burns, and Jeff Wilke.

Arcade is headquartered in San Francisco’s Presidio and led by serial entrepreneur Mariam Naficy (Minted, Eve), and a mission-driven team from Google, Apple, Stability AI, Glean, NVIDIA, Databricks, LinkedIn, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, and more. Arcade’s Chief AI Officer is Varun Jampani, a leading researcher who co-authored Dreambooth and created Stable Diffusion 3.5, among other things. Raghudeep Gadde, Head of Research at Arcade, was formerly a Principal Scientist at Amazon. Together, we’re pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI, personal expression, and on-demand manufacturing, and we’re building fast.

The Role

We’re looking for a Retoucher/Post-Production Artist to help bring real and AI-generated product imagery to a polished, production-ready standard.

You’ll work closely with our design and product teams to refine images, correct visual inconsistencies, and ensure product renders and creative assets meet a high bar for quality. This is a hands-on production role for someone with a strong eye for detail and experience in retouching, compositing, image manipulation, and post-production.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working quickly through a high volume of assets while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and visual quality.

What You'll Do
  • Retouch and refine product imagery and AI-generated visuals for quality, accuracy, and consistency

  • Perform image cleanup, compositing, color correction, masking, background removal, and other post-production work

  • Identify and correct visual inconsistencies, artifacts, distortions, and other imperfections in generated imagery

  • Prepare images for use across product experiences, marketing, and customer-facing applications

  • Match visual styles, colors, textures, and lighting across image sets

  • Make detailed edits based on creative direction and product requirements

  • Maintain consistency across large volumes of images and variations

  • Work closely with designers and product teams to understand requirements and iterate quickly

  • Help establish and maintain visual quality standards for product imagery

  • Flag recurring image-generation or production issues and provide feedback to the broader team

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of professional experience in retouching, compositing, post-production, or production art

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and related image-editing tools

  • Excellent eye for detail, composition, color, lighting, and visual consistency

  • Experience working with product photography, e-commerce imagery, or other commercial visual assets

  • Ability to make precise, production-ready edits while working efficiently

  • Strong understanding of masking, layers, color correction, compositing, and image cleanup

  • Ability to follow creative direction while exercising strong visual judgment

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback quickly

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with AI-generated imagery

  • Experience with product visualization, e-commerce, or personalized products

  • Experience working with high-volume image production or automated creative workflows

  • Familiarity with tools such as Illustrator, Lightroom, or other Adobe Creative Cloud applications

  • Experience identifying and correcting common generative AI image artifacts

What Success Looks Like
  • Product imagery consistently meets a high visual-quality bar

  • Retouched assets are accurate, polished, and production-ready

  • You can move quickly through a high volume of work without sacrificing quality

  • You develop a strong understanding of Arcade’s visual standards and apply them consistently

  • You help the team identify recurring quality issues and improve the overall post-production process
