About Mach9

Mach9 is pioneering the next era of the surveying and geospatial industry. Our AI-driven platform opens up a world of possibilities for the millions of surveyors and civil engineers responsible for supporting the $3 trillion infrastructure industry. With our market-defining technology, engineers can leverage geospatial data to complete projects faster than ever before.

Our first product, Mach9 Digital Surveyor is transforming highly-manual surveying workflows by automatically extracting features (such as signs, curbs, and utility poles, etc.) from large-scale imagery and 3D datasets—delivering results up to 96 times faster than today’s labor-intensive process. By dramatically scaling what surveyors can achieve, Mach9 empowers the industry to accelerate infrastructure development, improve decision-making, and fundamentally reshape the way we build and maintain our world.

Mach9 is backed by Quiet Capital, Y Combinator, Overmatch Ventures, Kyle Vogt (founder of Cruise), Amar Hanspal (former CEO of Autodesk), Scott Belsky (CPO of Adobe), Gokul Rajaram (former executive at DoorDash), and more.

Position Overview

We're looking for our first Revenue Operations hire to build the systems and processes that power Mach9's commercial engine. You'll own the infrastructure behind how we manage customer data, contracts, billing, commissions, and GTM workflows. This is a cross-functional role for someone who enjoys building from scratch, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to help scale a high-growth, usage-based AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Operations: build and own the commercial processes that support pricing, contracts, deal approvals, renewals, and customer account management.

  • Billing Operations: own the company's billing operations, ensuring customers are billed accurately and on time in accordance with their contracts and product usage.

  • GTM Technology Management: manage and continuously improve our GTM technology stack, critically evaluating third-party tools and overhauling the stack when necessary to drive efficiencies and improve team performance across GTM.

  • Revenue Planning and Reporting: design and manage the processes that support accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and operational visibility.

  • GTM Compensation: design, administer, and continuously improve compensation plans and incentive programs that align team performance with company goals.

Requirements

  • 4-7+ years of Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related operational role, preferably in a high-growth technology company

  • Ability to translate GTM needs and complex business problems into actionable requirements and project milestones

  • Ability to drive significant change initiatives across sales, CS and marketing, scaling processes in a growth-stage company increasing headcount

  • Experience designing and administering sales, customer success, and solutions compensation plans

  • Advanced knowledge of modern GTM systems and business applications, with experience administering CRM platforms, sales engagement tools, customer support platforms, and workflow automation tools

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Adaptable for the quickly changing landscape of a startup environment
