Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Supply Chain Manager at T-Mobile is integral in overseeing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manufacturing/assembly/repair/refurbishment and ensuring product quality across the lifecycle. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with TMO quality standards, developing risk mitigation strategies, and enhancing overall product integrity and customer satisfaction. By leading task forces for issue resolution and managing supplier performance metrics, the manager plays a crucial role in upholding the company's reputation for quality. The position involves conducting ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and QMS (Quality Management System) audits and collaborating with various teams to continuously improve processes and outcomes. With a focus on strong communication and robust interpersonal skills, the Quality Assurance Supply Chain Manager significantly contributes to T-Mobile's operational excellence and strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees OEM manufacturing/assembly/repair/refurbishment processes to ensure compliance with TMO quality standards
  • Conducts ISO and QMS audits to uphold and improve quality standards Leads task forces for issue resolution and manages supplier performance metrics. Develops risk mitigation strategies to enhance product integrity and customer satisfaction

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience
    OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience
    OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Electrical, Quality Engineering or related field (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Overseeing OEM manufacturing/assembly/repair/refurbishment processes to ensure compliance with quality standards (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Conducting ISO and QMS audits in a supply chain environment (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies in supply chain operations (Preferred)

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor: Certification that provides the skills needed to audit a quality management system (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015. (Preferred)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification from APICS that demonstrates knowledge in supply chain management and the ability to effectively streamline operations. (Preferred)

  • At least 18 years of age

The base salary range for this role in Irving, TX is $87,100 - $117,800

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $86,710 - $156,285

National Base Pay Range: $75,400 - $135,900

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
