What you’ll be doing:
Develop RF requirements and budgets for gain, noise, dynamic range, linearity, phase, timing, spurious response, and interference.
Model and analyze antenna-to-digitizer and transmit/receive signal-chain performance.
Define calibration, monitoring, built-in test, and fault-isolation approaches.
Coordinate with array hardware, FPGA, embedded, signal processing, mechanical, power, thermal, and test teams.
Support component selection, supplier reviews, lab characterization, design reviews, and anomaly resolution.
What you bring to this role:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering and 6+ years of RF/microwave system engineering.
Experience with RF budgets, phased arrays, receivers/transmitters, converters, calibration, and laboratory measurements.
Proficiency with RF simulation and test tools.
Ability to translate system performance into component and interface requirements.
Security clearance: U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or higher, and any program-specific access required for the position. Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the required clearance and access.
