Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate QAPI personnel, including performance management and development
- Oversee the monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
- Lead the agency's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, ensuring processes are in place to measure and improve performance
- Direct and coordinate quality initiatives using continuous quality improvement (CQI) methodologies
- Develop improvement models and provide education/training to staff on performance improvement and team development in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of safety, risk management, and infection control programs
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support staff orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education programs that meet regulatory requirements
- Ensure all QAPI activities are documented, tracked, and reported appropriately
- Schedule and facilitate monthly QAPI meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and storage of meeting minutes (e.g., SharePoint)
- Oversee preparation of reports and presentations related to quality and performance metrics
- Identify staff education and training needs based on data trends and performance outcomes
- Monitor high-risk indicators, analyze root causes, and implement corrective Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
- Coordinate the review of complaints, incidents, appeals, and regulatory survey outcomes with home health staff
- Provide input into employee performance evaluations as it relates to quality and compliance

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada
- Current CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Valid Nevada driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance
- 5+ years of management experience in a healthcare setting
- 3+ years of Home Health/QAPI experience
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems required
- Comprehensive understanding of nursing practice, standards of care, and state and federal home health regulations, with emphasis on QAPI Program requirements
Skills & Abilities:
- Solid observation, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and clearly communicate objectives
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (e.g., Windows, Outlook, email platforms)
- Adheres to professional standards and best practices in nursing
- Demonstrated ability to track, analyze, and trend data

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
