To support the significant growth and development of the organization, we are seeking the expertise and capability of a Safety Implementation Intern to join our dynamic team. 



What you’ll do at HammerTech 

This role will allow for exposure for students to both the construction and safety software industries, focusing on practical, real-world applications. Interns will benefit from hands-on experience, weekly team interactions, and client-facing projects. 



Responsibilities 

Mentorship & Team Interaction: 

  • Weekly in-person meetings with a HammerTech team member (dependent on location of hire) 
  • Exposure to various departments and functions within HammerTech to provide a well-rounded understanding of the business 
  • Interact with HammerTech’s Implementation Team members to learn insights on various topics such as construction basics, customer success, data analytics, project management, implementation process, key safety indicators, OHSA training, etc.  
  • Some travel may be required to attend internal HammerTech events 

Client Interaction & Project Involvement: 

  • Participation in at least one client training session or site visit 
  • Involvement in daily tasks such as creating client reports, handling configuration updates, and participating in internal meetings 
  • Client-specific worksheets (Inspections, Permits, PTPs, Safety Plans, etc.) 

Training & Development: 

  • Training covering the full scope of HammerTech operations 
  • Regular LinkedIn Learning courses and construction knowledge quizzes 
  • Assigned worksheets and structured tasks for daily/weekly progress tracking 

Projects & Deliverables: 

  • Specific client and internal tasks, such as: 
  • Stat checks and configuration adjustments 
  • Review and improvement of internal and client-facing documents (clarity, grammar, formatting) 
  • Researching and recommending potential HammerTech enhancements 
  • Organizing and aligning document resources, creating a master folder for templates and dashboards 
  • Maintain a running log of configuration tasks completed 
  • Software Write on the different tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, Power BI) 
  • Review and update internal and support documentation 
  • Safety Data Analytics Overview - Configure Insight Dashboards 
  • A special interest project designed by the intern based on their interests (e.g., safety specific focus) 
  • Deliver a final presentation at the end of the internship (PPT or video) 
  • Provide feedback on their experience for future marketing and recruitment efforts 
  • Update their resume with the team’s assistance

Benefits at HammerTech 

This position is a full-time temporary internship assignment. Accordingly, it is not eligible for participation in company-sponsored employee benefit programs, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. 

 

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
