Job Description:

The Nextpower Sales Support Manager-Contract Administration will be based in Fremont, CA. This position is responsible for ensuring that all sales agreements are accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner, collaborating with various teams including sales, legal, finance, and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of contract management processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Sr. Sales Support Manager and is critical to accelerating the contract lifecycle.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) how you will measure success:

· Enable and measure Contract Turnaround Time and work to optimize the cycle

· Achieve / Exceed sales targets for the whole business

· Define and roll out a survey process for every contract executed to ensure we are receiving customer and sales team feedback on “Ease of Doing Business”

· Adopt and utilize technology to automate tasks like contract creation, routing, and approvals. High-performing administrators will streamline these processes, reducing the reliance on manual work and tracking the percentage of contract processes now automated.

· Maintain a low escalation rate whereby the Sales team and other stakeholders are able to manage the Nextpower position prior to going to leadership. Escalation rate is a measured KPI

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

· Ensure compliance with the respective legal and regulatory standards through the review process

· Oversee the end-to-end process of contract management, from initial drafting to final execution.

· Ensure all contracts are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and legal regulations.

· Maintain and manage the contract repository, tracking key dates, renewals, expirations, and compliance deadlines.

· Identify areas for process improvements and implement efficiencies in the contract management workflow.

· Develop and maintain standard contract templates, ensuring consistency and reducing turnaround times.

· Implement automation and technology solutions to streamline contract processes and reduce manual tasks

· Work with the Director of Business Development to redefine a Sales Contracting Playbook, including best practices

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

· Bachelor’s degree

· 5-8 years of experience in commercial contract administration

· Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Knowledge of applicable supply agreement standards including legal language

· Experience managing and allocating resources to meet project deadlines and budgets

· Passion for and commitment to the organization's mission and goals.

· Experience with CLM implementation and management

· Strong Microsoft Word expertise to manage redlines and coordinate internal stakeholder review

· Certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are a plus.

· Ability to travel to meet customers or customer projects site 35% of the time

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is 95,000.00 to 100,000.00 plus a commission structure based on commission calculation, such as percentage of sales or specific metrics.(Applicable to California)
