About the Opportunity

EPR Fireworks is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Executive to join our growing sales team and help expand our reach across the Fire and EMS market.

The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle within an assigned territory — building pipeline, following up on inbound and marketing-generated opportunities, conducting discovery, demonstrating the value of the EPR Fireworks platform, developing proposals, and closing new business.

The ideal candidate is a motivated seller who enjoys building relationships, solving customer problems, and taking ownership of their territory. This person should be comfortable speaking with fire chiefs, EMS leaders, department administrators, IT teams, and other stakeholders and translating their operational challenges into clear software solutions.

This is a hands-on sales role for someone who can balance prospecting and pipeline development with managing active opportunities through the finish line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close.

  • Build and Manage Pipeline: Develop new opportunities through outbound prospecting, marketing and event leads, referrals, and territory-based outreach.

  • Understand Customer Needs: Lead consultative conversations with Fire and EMS departments to understand their current processes, challenges, priorities, and technology needs.

  • Position EPR Fireworks Solutions: Clearly communicate the value of the EPR Fireworks platform and connect relevant products and capabilities to each agency’s needs.

  • Deliver Effective Presentations and Demos: Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations independently and alongside internal product or technical resources when needed.

  • Manage Territory and Relationships: Develop strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout an assigned territory and identify opportunities to expand EPR Fireworks' presence.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Implementation, Product, and Customer Success to support opportunities and ensure smooth customer handoffs.

  • Maintain CRM & Forecasting Discipline: Keep opportunities, activities, next steps, and forecasts current and accurate in the CRM.

  • Navigate Public-Sector Sales: Develop an understanding of government procurement, purchasing processes, budgets, grants, and other factors that influence Fire and EMS technology decisions.

  • Represent EPR Fireworks: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other events within the assigned territory as needed.

Critical Skills
  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, GovTech, public safety, or a related industry.

  • Experience managing a sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal and close.

  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and connect those needs to relevant solutions.

  • Comfortable prospecting and building new pipeline rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.

  • Organized and disciplined approach to territory management, pipeline management, follow-up, and CRM activity.

  • Ability to learn software products quickly and communicate technical capabilities in a clear, customer-friendly way.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with a broader sales team.

  • Willingness to travel for conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other sales activities as needed.

The Ideal Candidate
  • A motivated hunter and closer who enjoys creating opportunities, building relationships, and moving deals forward.

  • Customer-focused and consultative, taking the time to understand how an agency operates before recommending a solution.

  • Comfortable with Fire and EMS leaders, or eager to learn the public safety industry and build credibility within it.

  • Organized and accountable, with strong follow-through and ownership of pipeline, territory, and results.

  • Confident but approachable, able to build trust with prospects without relying on an overly aggressive sales style.

  • Tech-forward and adaptable, comfortable learning new products, using sales technology, and incorporating data and AI tools into their workflow.

  • Collaborative, working effectively with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success.

  • Resilient and competitive, comfortable with longer sales cycles, changing priorities, competitive situations, and the persistence required to win new business.

  • Ready to grow, looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a territory, develop as a salesperson, and grow alongside EPR Fireworks.
