Meter is at an inflection point. Our team has built a vertically-integrated networking solution across hardware, software, operations and service that makes it incredibly easy for businesses of all sizes to connect to the internet quickly and reliably. We’re on a mission to disrupt the networking industry, a space where the top 5 players have a combined valuation of over half a trillion dollars.

The Meter Enterprise sales team, which focuses on customers with 10,000 employees or fewer, is the current heart of our fast-growing sales organization. As this Enterprise team continues to scale, we need a high-impact Sales Administration partner to support these reps. This person will be the engine that drives our Enterprise business forward by keeping Salesforce data pristine, helping reps execute quotes and complex deal updates with fast turnaround, and getting the team to operate at maximum efficiency.

Sales Administration will serve as a critical operational pillar that bridges the gap between our sellers, sales tooling, and administrative inputs. They will allow the Enterprise team to deliver a better customer experience that competitors can’t match and increase productivity for sellers by letting them focus on high-value customer-facing activities.

In your first 6 months, you will:
  • Enforce consistent Salesforce usage, data cleanliness and pipeline integrity across the Enterprise team members assigned to you.

  • Create accurate and fast quotes to present pricing to partners and customers

  • Identify administrative and system bottlenecks and make recommendations to address them, making workflows smoother for reps

  • Establish timely, accurate Revenue Ops coverage (e.g., handling RFPs, NDAs, vendor onboarding, quote staging) so that reps spend zero time on administrative documentation.

What your day will look like
  • Making sure your assigned Enterprise sellers’ Salesforce records, opportunities, contacts, tasks and forecasts are current, accurate and aligned with the sales process.

  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on pipeline health, deal metrics and work with the reps to help explain trends to leadership.

  • Help with lead and account assignments, setting up cadences, account plans and other rotational tasks to support sales.

  • Respond to time-sensitive administrative requests from customers and partners, including RFP response assistance, NDA execution, vendor onboarding and staging quotes.

  • Lead weekly meetings with sellers to review CRM records, customer notes, and other documentation, as well as update forecasting.

  • Conduct monthly reviews to ensure accounts, opportunities, and leads are correctly aligned with sellers and routing issues are addressed; drive quarterly data closure for past-quarter activities and ensure readiness for new quarters.

  • Own smaller projects like competitor analysis summaries, internal enablement materials, or ad hoc data pulls.

Who you are
  • You’re experienced in sales operations, sales support, account coordination or a similar role at tech companies that have experienced high-growth.

  • You’re experienced in channel sales and are familiar with the core concepts of transacting end customer deals through one or more third parties.

  • You’re experienced in Salesforce, and are comfortable using it to do reporting, build dashboards and enforce data hygiene.

  • You’re comfortable working in spreadsheets and performing light analysis

  • You’re able to learn and leverage sales tooling like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, etc.

  • You are organized and able to manage projects end-to-end by keeping multiple balls in the air at once, meeting deadlines with shifting priorities.

  • You can clearly communicate ideas verbally and through writing.

  • You’re proactive and resourceful, anticipating needs before they’re asked.

  • You can collaborate well with Sales, Operations, Marketing and leadership.

  • Bonus if you’ve had prior experience in Enterprise or account-based sales support.

Why Meter?

Meter is a vertically integrated networking company. Hardware, software, services, ISP, and autonomous networks—all built on a single data pipeline from the local network to the data center.

The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.

We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.

Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.

Compensation

  • The estimated base salary for this role is between $130,000 - 150,000.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
