Position Summary

We’re seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our Sales & Marketing organization through sales coordination, marketing initiatives, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

This highly visible role helps coordinate customer programs, product launches, promotional initiatives, trade shows, sales materials, website content, and reporting while providing day-to-day support to the Sales & Marketing team.

The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional communication abilities and enjoys working with both data and people in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Coordination

• Coordinate seasonal product launches, promotional campaigns, customer programs, and other sales and marketing initiatives. 

• Develop and maintain customer presentations, proposals, sales materials, promotional collateral, catalogs, website content, and other customer-facing resources. 

• Support customer meetings, sales initiatives, lead follow-up, and new business opportunities by coordinating materials, information, and follow-through. 

• Communicate directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely coordination and execution of customer programs and business initiatives. 

• Assist with planning and coordinating trade shows, customer visits, conferences, industry events, and sales meetings, including logistics, materials, and follow-up. 

• Conduct market research and monitor customer demand, competitive activity, and sales performance to support sales and marketing initiatives. 

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, presentations, and other analyses for Sales Leadership. 

• Coordinate communication and activities between Sales, Marketing, Production, Procurement, Customer Service, and Operations to support customer programs, product launches, and business initiatives. 

• Maintain customer information, sales support materials, and commercial documentation. 

• Provide project coordination and additional support to the Sales & Marketing team as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, marketing coordination, account support, business operations, or a related role.

• Experience supporting sales and marketing teams through customer presentations, promotional initiatives, trade shows, reporting, or project coordination.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Experience using Canva or similar tools to create professional presentations, sales materials, and marketing collateral is a plus.

• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; Microsoft Navision experience is a plus.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and professionally support customer interactions.

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive, collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

• Experience in horticulture, agriculture, produce, floral, nursery, consumer products, or wholesale distribution is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close distance and color vision.

Compensation:
