About Arcade

Arcade is building the world’s first AI physical product creation platform, where imagination becomes reality. Our platform lets anyone design, purchase, and sell custom, manufacturable products using natural language and generative AI. We believe everyone should have the power to create physical goods as easily as they post online, and we’re building the infrastructure to make that real for both consumers and businesses.

We’ve raised $42M from a world-class group of investors, including Reid Hoffman, Forerunner Ventures (Kirsten Green), Canaan Partners (Laura Chau), Adverb Ventures (April Underwood), Factorial Funds (Sol Bier), Offline Ventures (Brit Morin), Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher), Inspired Capital (Alexa von Tobel), and Torch Capital (Jonathan Keidan). Our angel investors include Elad Gil, Ev Williams, Marissa Mayer, Sara Beykpour, Kayvon Beykpour, Anna Veronika Dorogush, Eugenia Kuyda, David Luan, Sharon Zhou, Kelly Wearstler, Karlie Kloss, Colin Kaepernick, Christy Turlington Burns, and Jeff Wilke.

Arcade is headquartered in San Francisco’s Presidio and led by serial entrepreneur Mariam Naficy (Minted, Eve), and a mission-driven team from Google, Apple, Stability AI, Glean, NVIDIA, Databricks, LinkedIn, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, and more. Arcade’s Chief AI Officer is Varun Jampani, a leading researcher who co-authored Dreambooth and created Stable Diffusion 3.5, among other things. Raghudeep Gadde, Head of Research at Arcade, was formerly a Principal Scientist at Amazon. Together, we’re pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI, personal expression, and on-demand manufacturing, and we’re building fast.

The Role

We're looking for a Sales Design Specialist to be the hands-on partner for clients moving through Arcade's design and listing process. This role sits at the intersection of design and sales — part creative consultant, part client advocate — helping retailers, manufacturers, and artists turn an early idea into a finished, sellable product on our platform.

You'll work directly with new and prospective clients from their first design concept through a live product listing, answering questions, catching details less design-savvy customers might miss, and helping transform rough ideas into polished, production-ready products. When a design requires changes our platform can't yet support, you'll step in with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to make the necessary edits and keep projects moving. This is a foundational hire at an early-stage startup — you'll help define what great client support looks like as Arcade scales.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients moving through the design and listing process, from initial concept through a published listing.

  • Consult with clients on initial product designs, translating their ideas into manufacturable, sellable products.

  • Guide clients through refinement — identifying what's missing, what needs adjustment, and the finer details a customer might not catch on their own.

  • Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to directly edit and refine designs (pattern and product work) when a client's design needs hands-on adjustment.

  • Answer client questions about the design and prompting process, helping them get comfortable and confident using Arcade's AI-powered tools.

  • Proactively check in with clients throughout the design process to keep projects moving, answer questions, and ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

  • Flag recurring design or product issues to the Product team to help improve Arcade's tools over time.

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management on higher-touch accounts as needed.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required — day-to-day work involves direct pattern and product design edits.

  • Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional client-facing presence.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple client relationships at once.

  • A strong design eye, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve and refine product designs.

  • Comfort blending design consulting with sales and customer-facing work — you can build rapport, answer questions, and guide a client toward a finished, sellable product.

  • Background in a design-forward, client-facing role — for example, a designer sales specialist, sales support, or design consulting role in retail.

  • An entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in product design, textiles, pattern-making, or manufacturing.

  • Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms and product listing workflows.

  • Interest in generative AI and its application to design and commerce.

Why Arcade
  • Work alongside world-class AI researchers, engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs.

  • Opportunity to help define the future of AI-powered commerce.
