About Hike Medical

Hike Medical is building the defining company in musculoskeletal care. We sit at the intersection of AI, robotics, and healthcare, operating across three product lines: a proprietary AI-vision platform that turns a 30 second web-based foot scan into custom 3D-printed orthotics, an AI agent platform that automates the entire DME workflow from pre-visit processing to claims and revenue cycle, and SoleForge, our vertically integrated 3D printing factory producing custom medical devices at a scale the industry has never seen.

Our customers are both the largest employers on earth and the biggest companies in orthotics and prosthetics. On the clinical side, we're live across the industry's largest national providers. On the employer side, Fortune 50 companies trust us to protect their on-their-feet workforces.

But custom insoles are just the wedge. Our long-term vision is bionics: AI-designed, robotically manufactured orthotic and prosthetic devices at scale, replacing a fragmented, manual industry that hasn't changed in decades. Insoles today, full DME tomorrow, bionics by 2040. Read the full vision at bionics2040.com.

We've stealthily raised $22M through Seed and Series A backed by top-tier investors who invested early in companies like OpenAI, Anduril, and Mercury. We run a fast, results first, high ownership culture out of our new SF Rincon Hill office. If you want to work on problems that sit at the frontier of AI, manufacturing, and healthcare, this is the place.

The Role

We're building our employer sales engine from the ground up and need an SDR who can turn cold outreach into warm pipeline across the HR, benefits, and occupational health buyers who protect America's workforce. You'll sit at the tip of the spear on our employer channel, partnering closely with Account Executives and leadership to drive top-of-funnel activity across brokers, consultants, and direct enterprise employers.

This is a high-visibility role with a clear path to AE. If you want to own something real, learn from founders who've done it before, and be on the ground floor of a category-creating company — this is it.

What You'll Do
  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation for the employer channel — outbound prospecting via cold email, cold call, LinkedIn, and creative sequencing

  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts across large self-insured employers, brokers, benefits consultants, and TPAs

  • Book qualified discovery calls and demos

  • Partner with AEs on account strategy, messaging, and follow-through

  • Maintain clean, accurate records in CRM — logging activity, updating pipeline stages, and tracking outreach cadences

  • Test and iterate on outbound messaging and sequences to improve top-of-funnel conversion

  • Represent Hike's brand with credibility and warmth — you're often the first human touchpoint for a prospect

  • Share market feedback with leadership to sharpen ICP, messaging, and channel strategy

What We're Looking For

These are not hard-and-fast requirements — we care more about crisp execution and ownership than checking every box.

  • 1–3+ years of B2B sales or SDR/BDR experience, ideally in healthcare, employer benefits, HR tech, or adjacent markets

  • Proven track record of consistent outbound activity and quota attainment

  • Fluency with cold outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn

  • High-agency mindset — you build your own lists, write your own copy, and find your own path in

  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can write a cold email that actually gets opened

  • Comfortable selling to HR and benefits buyers, or eager to learn fast

  • Organized and disciplined with pipeline hygiene, follow-through, and next-step ownership

  • Hungry to grow — you see this as a launching pad, not a parking spot

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience selling into employers, health plans, or occupational health

  • Familiarity with broker and benefits consultant channels (Gallagher, Lockton, Mercer, AON, WTW)

  • Experience at a venture-backed or high-growth startup

  • HubSpot or Apollo.io experience

  • Background in healthcare, digital health, or med-device

What You'll Get

  • Competitive base + variable compensation tied to meetings booked and pipeline created

  • Competitive equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • $15K relocation bonus if needed

  • Daily collaboration with the founding team and senior leadership

  • Clear promotion path to Account Executive as we scale the employer team

  • Free custom insoles (of course…)
