Conduct approximately 100 daily calls to pool service owners, understand their scheduling, routing, billing, and communication processes, explain Tide, identify qualified prospects, and book meetings and demos. SDRs maintain accurate CRM records, follow up with prospects, ensure meeting attendance, provide clear notes to sales, and share customer insights with product and onboarding teams. The role is based in-office in San Francisco and offers advancement to Account Executive roles.
The summary above was generated by AI

Pool service owners run crews, routes, customers and billing, often on paper and late at night. Chisel Tide puts all of it in one place: scheduling, routes, invoicing and payments, with AI that handles the routine office work.

Chisel owns and operates pool service companies, and Tide is built alongside them. When you call an owner, you're selling something made by people who run the same kind of business.

We're hiring an SDR to get Tide in front of more pool service owners. You'll call them, learn how they run things, and book meetings with the ones Tide can help. If you've worked at a pool distributor, serviced pools, or run a service office, you already speak the language. No software sales experience needed.

The job
  • Call pool service owners. This is a phone job: plan on 100 dials a day.
  • Learn how they handle scheduling, routes, billing and customer communication.
  • Explain Tide in plain terms and spot the businesses it fits.
  • Book qualified meetings and demos, make sure the owner shows up, and hand the sales team clear notes on what they need and the next step.
  • Follow up with owners who aren't ready yet.
  • Keep the CRM accurate.
  • Bring back what you hear from owners so we can sell and build Tide better.

You'll work from a researched, enriched list of target businesses, so your time goes into conversations, not list building.

How we measure it

The right owner shows up, there's a real need, and the next step is clear. At full ramp the target is 10+ qualified meetings a month, and ramp takes 4 weeks. You'll always know the number and how you're tracking against it.

Your first month

Product walkthroughs, demo shadowing and practice calls, then supported outreach. Weekly call reviews with the team in our San Francisco office. By the end of the month you own your account list.

Where it goes

Strong SDRs move into Account Executive roles, typically within 9-12 months. Along the way you'll work with product and onboarding, so you'll understand the whole business, not just the first call.

What you bring
  • You pick up the phone and you follow through.
  • You're curious about how small businesses actually run.
  • You ask good questions and listen to the answers.
  • You take feedback and get better fast.
  • You're comfortable learning new software.

Experience in pool service, distribution, inside sales or customer service is a real plus.

The interview

You'll explain Tide to a pool service owner who still schedules on paper and sends invoices at night. We'll give you feedback and you'll try again. We're looking at how you communicate, the questions you ask, and how quickly you adjust. Nobody expects you to know Tide yet.

Pay and benefits
  • $60,000 base salary.
  • $20,000 commission at target, for $80,000 OTE. Uncapped + accelerators above target. You'll get the written plan, including how ramp works, before you accept.
  • Health, dental, vision.
  • In-office in San Francisco.
