Job Summary:  

We're looking for a high-impact Sales Director to own and scale revenue in the US market. This is a senior individual contributor and leadership role . you'll drive the full sales motion from pipeline creation to close, while helping shape the go-to-market playbook for our DTC and retail SaaS verticals. You'll work directly with the executive team and have real influence over product direction, pricing strategy, and market positioning. 

Roles & Responsibilities:  

  • Build and execute a US go-to-market strategy targeting DTC brands, omnichannel retailers, and grocery/CPG companies evaluating AI-powered pricing and analytics platforms 

  • Own the end-to-end sales pipeline — from outbound prospecting and inbound qualification to negotiation and close — with full accountability for ARR targets 

  • Navigate complex enterprise deal cycles involving VP/C-suite buyers across Merchandising, Finance, and Digital Commerce functions 

  • Develop accurate revenue forecasts, territory plans, and account prioritization frameworks aligned to quarterly and annual goals 

  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise retail/DTC companies (typically $50M–$2B in revenue) 

  • Partner closely with Marketing on demand gen campaigns, ABM programs, and event strategy targeted at US retail audiences 

  • Collaborate with Product to feed customer and market intelligence into the roadmap — especially around pricing optimization, promotional analytics, and inventory decisioning use cases 

  • Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding, healthy adoption, and expansion revenue from existing accounts 

  • Represent Hypersonix at key US industry events - NRF, Shoptalk, Groceryshop, and similar retail and DTC forums 

  • Drive disciplined Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) hygiene and weekly pipeline reporting to the leadership team 

Requirements:  

  • 8–12 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with meaningful time selling into US retail and ecommerce Industry. 

  • Experience selling AI/ML, pricing, or analytics platforms is a strong plus - you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to sell technical value confidently 

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles (3–12 months) with multiple stakeholders 

  • Familiarity with the modern retail tech stack - e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or equivalent platforms 

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence VP and C-suite buyers. 

  • Experience building sales processes, playbooks, and territories in early/growth-stage startups. 

  • Data-driven approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and deal reviews; proficiency in Salesforce or HubSpot CRM 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus but not required 

  • US-based with willingness to travel up to 30–40% for customer meetings and industry events
