About the Role

The Director, Sales Enablement is responsible for building, scaling, and leading the global Sales Enablement function at AppOmni. This role is mission-critical to ensure that our sales teams are equipped with the knowledge, tools, processes, and training required to drive performance and productivity across the revenue organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep expertise in enablement best practices, sales processes, and enterprise SaaS go-to-market strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute the overall sales enablement strategy from the ground up to support a high-growth SaaS security startup.
  • Build and lead a world-class enablement function that empowers sales teams to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
    Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align enablement initiatives with GTM strategy and company objectives.
  • Design and implement scalable onboarding programs for SDRs, AEs, and Sales Engineers to accelerate ramp time and productivity.
  • Create and manage an ongoing learning and development framework, including training programs, certifications, and skill development paths.
  • Develop sales playbooks, competitive battlecards, messaging guides, and objection handling resources tailored to the cybersecurity buyer journey.
  • Introduce metrics and reporting to evaluate the impact of enablement programs on pipeline generation, conversion rates, and sales performance.
  • Evaluate and implement enablement tools and technologies (e.g., CMS, LMS, conversation intelligence platforms) to support content delivery and performance insights.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to sales leadership, identifying knowledge and process gaps and addressing them with targeted interventions.
    Stay current with industry trends, buyer personas, and product updates to ensure enablement content remains relevant and effective.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the sales organization.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing sales enablement team as the function scales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Leadership, or Sales Operations within a B2B SaaS organization; experience managing teams preferred.
  • Enablement Expertise: Demonstrated success building scalable enablement programs with measurable impact on revenue performance.
  • Sales Acumen: Deep knowledge of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Domain Experience: Security/cybersecurity 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Tools & Technology: Proficiency with LMS platforms - seismic, nice to have 
  • Metrics-Driven: Ability to define, track, and report on enablement KPIs.
  • Leadership: Collaborative leader able to influence cross-functionally and manage change with clarity and empathy.

Our total rewards package includes the following:

  • Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $200-250,000 OTE. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as the final candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business considerations and peer compensation. See Compensation Bands spreadsheet for pay range information.
