Role Overview

Cogent is building autonomous cyber defense with AI agents that help security teams move from finding risk to actually fixing it. As our sales organization scales, we are hiring a Sales Enablement Lead to help reps ramp faster, learn the product deeply, and sell more consistently.

This role sits within the Revenue Operations arm of Growth, partnering closely with Sales leadership, Product Marketing, Product, Demand Gen, and Partnerships to improve full-funnel sales execution.

This is a hands-on builder role with immediate leverage. In the first few months, you will clean up the enablement hub, strengthen rep curriculum and certification, launch a repeatable Gong insights loop, and build the assets reps need for discovery, POVs, competitive conversations, product education, and partner-led opportunities.

Ownership Areas

Curriculum and Rep Readiness
  • Own onboarding, curriculum creation, certification, and ongoing education for AEs, SDRs, and future sales leaders.

  • Build GTM readiness programs that help reps create pipeline, progress opportunities, and communicate Cogent's value clearly.

  • Reinforce the core sales motion across discovery, qualification, POV setup, mutual plans, value story, objection handling, and handoffs.

  • Partner with Sales and RevOps on stage discipline, pipeline review follow-through, POV quality, and rep operating cadence.

Product Education and Sales Assets
  • Own the sales enablement hub and keep it current, useful, and easy for reps to navigate.

  • Build assets that help reps learn and communicate the product: pitch materials, feature explainers, release briefs, discovery guides, POV templates, competitive assets, FAQs, objection handling, call guides, customer stories, and partner briefs.

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing on new features, releases, positioning, messaging, and launch enablement.

  • Create repeatable templates for POV summaries, one-pagers, account research, partner enablement, and post-call follow-up materials.

Field Intelligence and Adoption
  • Mine Gong and field feedback for recurring themes: buyer questions, objections, competitor mentions, feature requests, POV gaps, FAQs, and product feedback.

  • Turn field learnings into updated messaging, trainings, coaching plans, product feedback loops, and sales hub updates.

  • Drive adoption of the tools and workflows reps rely on, including HubSpot, Gong, sequencing tools, the sales enablement hub, and AI-enabled workflows.

  • Track whether enablement is improving ramp, sales consistency, tool usage, POV quality, and deal progression.

What We Are Looking For
  • 6+ years in sales enablement, revenue enablement, product marketing, sales operations, or frontline sales in B2B software.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions, discovery, qualification, POVs, pipeline progression, and sales process discipline.

  • Ability to turn messy field input into clear curriculum, assets, training, and coaching.

  • Strong writing, facilitation, and program management skills across live, async, and manager-led enablement.

  • Comfort working with Gong, CRM data, dashboards, Notion or sales content systems, and AI tools.

  • High follow-through: you make sure enablement changes behavior and drives adoption, not just that a deck exists.
