The Role
Veeva is looking for an experienced Sales Leader to drive sales across our largest, strategic accounts for Veeva Quality Cloud- the leading technology foundation for Life Sciences manufacturing.
 
As a Sales Leader for Veeva Quality Cloud, you will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for establishing and building influence with VP-level stakeholders in Quality Assurance and Quality Control at leading Life Sciences companies. This is an opportunity to build long-term strategic roadmaps with key customers as well as to identify and develop new accounts.   
 
This is a critical position responsible for hiring, managing, and mentoring a team of AEs. Creativity, energy, and the ability to hire, manage and support a diverse team are critical to your success.

What You’ll Do

  • Hire and manage a team of A-players to create and drive business into new and existing accounts 
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets set for the team
  • Provide strategic guidance related to key opportunities and complete sales cycles
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C-level executives
  • Accurate sales forecast and pipeline management
  • Review and approve pricing and proposals
  • Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veeva’s CRM

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience supporting larger Biopharma customers  through a manufacturer, technology solution provider, or SI partner (seniority)
  • Depth of understanding in Quality Management Systems, QC Operations, and GxP training spaces as appropriate for larger Biopharma customers (full suite)
  • Proven leadership of global Sales teams to drive opportunities with intensity (aggression)
  • Seasoned at developing and maintaining relationships with executive-level Quality stakeholders at larger Biopharma customers (network) 
  • Demonstrated capabilities in growing and scaling a technology offering and/or a consulting platform including innovating across business processes and technology solutions (thought leadership)

  • Proven success using Solution Selling Methodologies
  • Techniques to influence requirements and the sales cycle timeline
  • Effective time management & multi-tasking skills
  • History of leadership roles, professional or nonprofessional

Compensation

  • Base pay: $150,000 - $215,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
