Overview

The Sales Operations Analyst will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient execution of order-to-cash processes, review and validate customer purchase orders and commercial terms and improve data integrity across business systems and continuous improvements.  

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn sales operations processes. 


Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.  

Responsibilities
  • Review and process customer purchase orders (POs) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved business terms. 
  • Validate pricing, quantities, customer information, billing details, delivery schedules, and payment terms before order entry. 
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve order discrepancies and documentation issues. 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer orders and support documentation for SOX compliance and audit. 
  • Manage the complete Order-to-Cash process, from order receipt through invoicing and payment collection, not limited to resolving shipment, invoicing, revenue recognition and billing, etc. 
  • Assist with backlog management and order fulfillment reporting 
  • Analyze sales, bookings, backlog, revenue, and demand data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems. 
  • Drive business process improvement initiatives to streamline forecasting, reporting, and sales operations workflows. 

Qualifications

Required 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). 
  • Understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and order management principles. 
  • Enterprise systems CRM and ERP, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Oracle, Salesforce (SFDC) 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, Customer Operations, or a related role preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $85,700 to $159,100. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
