Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated annual OTE (on track earnings) for this position is $130,500 - $137,750. USD which includes a base salary of $90,000 - $95,000 USD and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales team are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Commission Plan on day one and it is uncapped. The annual target incentive for this position is 45%. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

- Supports development and provides motivation to sales professionals by coaching and transferring knowledge of sales techniques, service offerings, and industry knowledge to the sales team to drive results.
- Supports client engagement by managing relationships at the middle management and key decision maker levels for medium to smaller customers.
- Supervises sales transaction pipelines and forecasting.
- Stays up to date with and understands latest market developments and trends.
- Supervises the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, develop, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve revenue, orders, and growth objectives.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings focused on performance, development, opportunity coaching, and career growth.
- Lead team stand-up meetings to review priorities, pipeline progression, forecasts, risks, and key actions.
- Drive quota attainment, pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and overall sales performance.
- Conduct pipeline reviews and opportunity coaching to accelerate revenue growth and improve win rates.
- Develop and execute territory, account, and growth strategies to expand market share.
- Drive new logo prospecting, customer acquisition, and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify and promote cross-sell and upsell opportunities across UL Solutions service offerings.
- Monitor sales metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
- Develop and manage performance improvement and recovery plans when necessary.
- Ensure Salesforce CRM data integrity, opportunity management, and compliance with sales processes.
- Partner with Sales Support, Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Business Leaders to remove obstacles and accelerate opportunities.
- Support customer retention, strategic account growth, and resolution of customer escalations.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and development of sales talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
- Communicate business priorities, organizational updates, and strategic initiatives to the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and operational procedures.
- Drive execution of regional and business unit objectives while delivering a high-performance sales culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in a related discipline
- 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Ability to work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a variety of factors, including understanding the sales process.
- Knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
- Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers.
