We are looking for a driven, accomplished strategic alliances director to build and drive our relationships with 3rd party technology and accounting consultants to help support direct sales growth for Sage Intacct.

The Manager of Strategic Alliances is responsible for helping to drive incremental revenue for Sage Intacct through building alliances with 3rd party consultants and system integrators (SIs). This role will build all aspects of the program and develop the strategy. Work will include initially developing the go to market strategy for partner recruitment, partnership structure and financial incentives, legal requirements, partner training, and ongoing management of existing partners. Developing joint marketing events with partners and attending or presenting at relevant industry events will also be part of job responsibilities. This will impact many stakeholders, so someone versed in influencing internal stakeholders in a matrixed environment is important. Experience in the consultant and system integrators ecosystem is highly important, especially those focused on finance transformation, the office of the CFO, technology vendor selection, and/or digital transformation. This role reports to the Director of Private Equity alliances for Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee marketing and outreach to potential partners- consultants, advisors, and systems integrators
  • Develop partnership structure with tiered approach
  • Gain approval from internal and external stakeholders on legal and financial aspects of partnership
  • Support Sage Intacct direct sales team
  • Build new partnerships: recruit, negotiate and manage new consultant partners and SIs
  • Work across multiple teams in driving additional new business sales opportunities for Sage Intacct and expediting winning new customers from existing sales opportunities influenced by these partners.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, or related fields
  • 6+ years experience in more than one of the following: consulting, B2B sales, SaaS vertical, with a sales and/or consulting background strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and juggle several large projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with many stakeholders
  • Track record of overperforming quota or objectives
  • Travel required, expect at least 25%
