Your Mission

The Deal Desk Specialist will be responsible for managing the renewals Deal Desk quote to cash process and support the Account Management (AM) team.  The Deal Desk Specialist will serve as a strategic advisor to the AM team, tasked with providing business and policy guidance to drive successful renewal of Tray’s products and services. 

This position is highly visible, requiring interaction across sales, finance, legal, marketing, and customer success!

What you will do:

  • Ensure that all quotes are compliant with internal policies and assist with non-standard deal structures to satisfy all stakeholders    
  • Establish and enforce best practices regarding deal structure by partnering with the AM team
  • Provide AM team with renewal order forms one quarter in advance of anniversary date
  • Perform license usage reports (true-ups) and audit against contractual purchases for review with the AM to optimize value and support provided to the customer
  • Partner with sellers to ensure opportunities are properly created and tracked in Salesforce including stage, probability, booking amount, and various other required fields
  • Manage discounting and exception approvals processes
  • Identify potential training issues and coordinate with internal teams to develop and deliver sales enablement
  • Help define and implement processes to support scalability
  • Assists with Salesforce reports as needed

About you:

  • At least 1+ years of Deal Desk or Order Management experience
  • Experience working with or supporting Sales or Services organization
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition, pricing strategy, and quote to cash process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting business cases and pricing models to executives
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office offerings, understanding of CPQ is a plus
  • BA or BS required

Location

Our HQ is located in the historic SOMA district of San Francisco. SOMA is home to the SF Giants stadium and is about a 10 minute walk to FiDi. But we've got a London HQ and remote hubs all over the map, with Trayers working in San Diego, Austin, Chicago, Atlanta and many more cities in between.
