As VP of Sales at Nightfall, you will lead sales, deliver successful customer outcomes, and develop & execute upon sales strategy. In addition to hiring, training, motivating and leading the sales organization, you’ll develop and drive high quality customer & partner relationships. Ideal candidates have a demonstrated track record of recruiting and coaching a world-class team of diverse managers and account executives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and build the Nightfall sales team, recruiting top sales talent, developing our existing team, and creating a strong sales culture
  • Work closely with the leadership team and cross-functionally to assess the current business, develop a deep understanding of Nightfall’s product, customers, and addressable market, and develop a flywheel for Nightfall’s go-to-market motion
  • Create and build on sales relationships with key customers and partners, owning major relationships from prospecting through sale and delivery of Nightfall products, acting as a player-coach as the team expands
  • Plan, drive, and forecast sales revenue against team and company targets with accuracy
  • Oversee key sales operations activities including process definition, sales enablement, and rules of engagement
  • Provide key inputs from the field including market intelligence, product and service feedback, partner input on products, and market trends
  • Team player who is simultaneously part of our executive leadership team and has an ear to the ground working alongside our front line team
  • Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to prioritize opportunities and develop go-to-market / market entry & campaign strategies

Requirements

  • 6+ years of sales experience in SaaS, IT, security, or data infrastructure
  • 3+ years of sales management experience in SaaS, IT, security, or data infrastructure
  • Experience managing sales in a hyper-growth environment and a product-led, high-velocity sales motion
  • Ability to quickly form strong external and cross-functional relationships
  • Bachelor's degree
