We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer (CPQ Owner) to take end-to-end ownership of our Salesforce CPQ environment. Sitting within the Revenue Operations team, you will be the primary architect, configurator, and developer for our quoting and pricing system.  You will serve as the single process owner for quote and pricing configuration in CPQ, ensuring consistent behaviors across new sales, renewals, amendments and expansion and across integrated systems (billing, ERP/Finance).

You will design and implement customized sales solutions, streamline quoting processes, and improve sales efficiency. As the CPQ Owner, you will partner closely with RevOps leadership, Product Marketing and Finance to align pricing structures with revenue expectations, continuously improving the performance, usability, and scalability of our CPQ platform.

Requirements

Salesforce CPQ Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Salesforce CPQ.

Platform Experience: 5+ years of overall experience on the Salesforce platform.

Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Proven experience leveraging and implementing Quote Calculator Plugins (QCP).

Complex Scenarios: Demonstrated experience handling complex pricing models, multi-year deals, contract structuring, amendments, renewals, and product swaps.

System Architecture: Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, automation capabilities, and governor limits.

Certifications: Salesforce CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Platform Developer I

Preferred Qualifications

Integrations: Experience working with integrations tied to CPQ, such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct (highly preferred). Experience with integration platforms like Workato.

Billing & Finance: Experience with Salesforce CPQ Billing or external billing systems. Experience aligning CPQ with finance processes such as invoicing and revenue recognition.

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tools for deployment purposes.

Contract Lifecycle: Exposure to contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., LinkSquares).

Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce CPQ Billing

What Success Looks Like

System of Record: CPQ becomes a highly reliable system of record for bookings and deal structure.

Sales Efficiency: The Sales team can seamlessly build complex deals without relying on manual workarounds.

Scalability: Pricing logic, including QCP, is scalable, performant, and easily maintainable.

Financial Trust: Finance fully trusts the outputs, resulting in zero downstream reconciliation issues.

Lifecycle Fluidity: Renewals, amendments, and multi-year deals function cleanly and natively, without the need for system "hacks."
