Partner with sales, solutions consulting, product, and engineering teams to demonstrate business value, support proof-of-concepts, develop integration environments, answer technical questions, and translate complex SAP connectivity concepts into business-friendly guidance. Our SAP Solutions Consultant is an essential pre-sales customer-facing role within the Global Revenue Organization, partnering with prospects and clients to drive a mutual understanding of FloQast’s vast integration ecosystem. Directly engaging with customers' accounting leadership, controllers, and finance teams, this role involves consulting, answering domain-specific queries, and advocating best practices for SAP integrations. While dedicated technical sales resources manage deep IT infrastructure discussions, this role serves as the key bridge between SAP functionality and real-world accounting workflows across complex SAP setups (ECC and S/4HANA), diverse ERPs, Cloud Storage, SSO, Communication Tools, and other financial platforms. This team player collaborates closely with Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, and Account Managers on late-stage opportunities to demonstrate maximum business value to finance stakeholders and translate client feedback into actionable insights for our product/engineering teams.
*Visa sponsorship is NOT available at this time
What You'll Do:

- Serve as subject matter expert for FloQast’s integration ecosystem, including pre-built APIs, custom APIs and connectors (specifically those for SAP), SFTP, and SAML.
- Join late-stage Sales opportunities to demonstrate how SAP integrations streamline financial workflows, address accounting pain points, and secure buy-in from accounting and finance stakeholders.
- Strategize with the Sales team on best next steps to build trust and achieve functional alignment with the prospect's accounting team.
- Collaborate with the Product/Engineering team on developments needed from an integration perspective.
- Tri-Modal Connectivity Value Translation: Partner with technical sales counterparts to translate FloQast’s tri-modal connectivity architecture (Direct APIs, On-Premise Connectors, and Public API endpoints) into clear operational benefits for accounting users in complex SAP landscapes.
- Workflow Automation Consulting: Consult with prospects on optimizing their month-end close by identifying opportunities for SAP job orchestration and T-code execution, helping customers achieve parity with enterprise-grade automation solutions.
- Financial Data Alignment: Collaborate with customer accounting and financial systems teams to map close processes to SAP data structures, ensuring smooth native ingestion of Trial Balances, GL transactions, subledgers, and custom client tables (Z-tables).
- Ensure customer-facing integration collateral and best-practice guides for accounting teams are up-to-date and tailored for sales enablement;
- Answer questions from the sales team about integrations for their customer use cases.
- Deliver the required integrations and FloQast test environments for occasional proof of concepts needed to secure a customer.
- Write regular expressions to parse file names and contents for data processing as part of integrations with ERPs (including SAP data extractions), subledgers, banks, etc. related to POCs, as needed.
- Any other duties or tasks that may be assigned to help the Solutions Consulting department, the Company, and/or our clients meet their goals.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Financial Systems, Solutions Consulting, or Sales, with a proven track record of engaging accounting audiences and driving pre-sales success.
- SAP Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SAP environments, specifically regarding SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite entitlements, and the distinction between SAP Public vs. Private Cloud deployment models.
- Possess a deep understanding of corporate accounting workflows, month-end close challenges, and financial reporting needs to position FloQast effectively to finance buyers.
- Experience with ERP systems (especially SAP S/4HANA or ECC), supporting configuration, integration, or migration of ERP modules.
- Experience with cloud storage systems and administration experience within a team setting.
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and administrative experience within a team setting.
- Data Structure Familiarity: Proven experience or strong aptitude for navigating SAP data dictionaries and understanding standard SAP table structures (e.g., ACDOCA for transactional and trial balance data) to facilitate accurate data ingestion.
- Integration Implementation: Experience implementing or supporting integration projects involving SAP APIs (OData/RESTful) and secure file exchange (SFTP) within the context of financial or ERP systems.
- Collaborative team player; must be comfortable in a high-velocity sales environment.
- Energetic communicator who enjoys relationship building via multiple video conferencing calls daily.
- Strong verbal and written skills to assist customers over live meetings, zoom, and/or email.
- Ability to articulate complex SAP integration concepts in business-friendly terms to accounting and finance stakeholders.
