Job Title: SAP UI and Work Zone Developer
Experience: 5–7 Years

We are seeking a skilled SAP UI and Work Zone Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern user interfaces for SAP applications. This role will leverage SAPUI5 and SAP Work Zone (standard/advanced edition) to create intuitive, responsive, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong front-end development background and solid integration experience with SAP backend systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy SAPUI5 applications in accordance with design standards and business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Build and maintain interfaces, enhancements, and reports in SAP systems ensuring high performance and reliability.
Integrate SAP UI5 applications with SAP backend and third-party systems using OData services and REST APIs.
Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability through best coding practices.
Configure and administer SAP Build Work Zone (standard/advanced), including user roles, navigation, and content.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production using appropriate debugging tools and techniques.
Stay current with SAP UI5, Fiori, and Work Zone technology trends and updates.
Contribute to documentation including technical design specs, solution architecture, and knowledge-sharing guides.
Participate in agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
Proven experience with SAP UI5 and building responsive, intuitive UIs.
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and the SAPUI5 framework with MVC architecture.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori design guidelines, Theme Designer, and Fiori Launchpad configuration.
Hands-on experience integrating with SAP backend systems using OData services and REST APIs.
Proficiency in configuring and managing SAP Build Work Zone (standard and advanced editions).
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and cloud-native development concepts.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills for solving complex UI5 and Work Zone issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) using project tracking tools
