What You’ll Do
- Write and adapt one vertical micro-drama script every 5 weeks, delivering high-quality, binge-worthy episodes on a fast production cycle.
- Craft fast-paced, emotionally gripping dialogue featuring strong romance tropes, dramatic hooks, and cliffhangers designed for short-form vertical viewing.
- Work closely with our founder to develop and refine scripts, using AI tools to continuously improve story logic, narrative consistency, and overall script quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, AI production, and marketing teams to build compelling story moments that maximize viewer engagement, retention, and shareability.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback, adapting scripts and storylines while maintaining creative excellence and meeting tight production timelines.
- Contribute to the development of emotionally engaging story arcs and episodic structures that keep mobile-first audiences returning episode after episode.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience writing scripts for vertical micro-drama or short-form episodic platforms (please include samples with your submission).
- Deep understanding of romance tropes, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, and the pacing required for cliffhanger-driven short-form storytelling.
- Exceptional skill in crafting sharp, emotionally charged dialogue that feels addictive in a mobile-first format.
- Ability to quickly revise and adapt scripts based on feedback while maintaining narrative clarity and emotional impact.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly iterative creative environment.
