BDR/SDR – Brave Search APISF hybrid or Remote - USA preferredAbout Brave

Brave is on a mission to protect the human right to privacy online. We’ve built a free web browser that blocks creepy ads and trackers by default, a private search engine with a truly independent index, a private ad network (opt-in!) that directly rewards you for your attention, and a browser-native AI integration focused on keeping private data private. And we’re just getting started. Already 120 million people have switched to Brave for a faster, more private web. Millions more switch every month.

The internet is a sea of ads, hackers, and echo chambers. Big Tech makes huge profits off our data, and tells us what’s true and what’s not. Brave is fighting back. Join us!

The Role

We are looking for a driven BDR/SDR  to help us expand our footprint in the developer and enterprise markets and create our internal lead generation process.

As a BDR for the Brave Search API, you will be the first point of contact for potential enterprise and developer users. Your primary goal is to identify, qualify, and schedule meetings for our Account Executives, focusing on organizations looking to integrate privacy-centric search capabilities into their products. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by connecting our technology with businesses that value user privacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients (SaaS companies, media outlets, developer tools) that would benefit from integrating the Brave Search API.
  • Outreach: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) to engage CTOs, Product Managers, and Lead Developers.
  • Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand technical requirements, pain points regarding current search providers, and budget authority.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities and leads in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to refine messaging and stay updated on new API features and use cases.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather feedback from prospects to help shape the product roadmap and sales strategy.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in BDR/SDR roles, preferably in B2B SaaS, API/Developer Tools, or Privacy Tech.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tech Savviness: Familiarity with APIs, developer ecosystems, or the ability to quickly learn technical product details.
  • Mindset: A strong belief in the mission of online privacy and user data sovereignty.
  • Tools: Proficiency with CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation tools.

Compensation - $65K-70K base salary plus commission and benefits

Why Join Brave?
  • Industry-leader in privacy, with a research and engineering team that’s innovating everyday to keep people safer online and beat Big Tech
  • Highly competitive salaries & benefits, and generous home-office stipends
  • Fully remote team (no office, no commute)
  • Minimal meetings
  • Welcoming, humble, ridiculously smart teammates, and a truly flat org structure
  • Opportunity to get in early at a hyper-growth company, and revolutionize the web
  • Oh, and did we mention Brendan, our CEO & co-founder, invented JavaScript?
