Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Requires specialized knowledge of GEV Gas Power across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.
  • Lead the decarb initiatives and define new account customers to incentive GEV solution to reach 0 carbon
  • Support new Units team for new tendering and work closely to define the right strategy to win vs Competitions.
  • Drive the road map of the Gas Conversion of 9Es fleet and introduce Add On to maximize customer benefits HR, Output…
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications 

  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). 

  • Minimum 10+ years of proven track record and experience in the Sales and Commercial activities. 

  • Proven experience in Energy industry, power generation product experience in managerial role 

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the energy market within MEA countries , working with government agencies and customers to position GEV products 

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment 

Desired Characteristics 

  • French and Arabic speaking is a plus 

  • Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills 

  • Executive level communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
